Sometimes when Dewesoft NET is used for remote connection between the devices, Dewesoft might say "Connection failed"

Although you have everything perfectly set up you should disable the firewall and then try to connect again. If, in this case, Dewesoft NET works fine, it means that firewall caused the problem. 


In order to be able to have the firewall enabled you should add exceptions in firewall settings for Inbound and Outbound traffic as shown in the pictures below.
