In order to compare two setup files for a difference you can compare XML files of each setup file with https://winmerge.org/ or such programs. Basically DXS file is written in XML form. To extract XML from DXS there are two options.
Datafile DXD
- Use any File export
- Set all export channel to NO
- Toggle "Export setup to xml file
- Find XML file in Export folder
Setup file DXS
- Open DXS with 7-ZIP for example
- Extract "local.xml" out. This is XML of the setup file
Then compare XMLs with WinMerge or similar program. Below you can see marked difference in channel name.
